A disguise Programmer / Operator specialising in large-scale, ambitious, cutting-edge projects across live events, television, film and immersive experiences worldwide.

Director of my own company, Gwilym Huws Limited. Since its formation in 2015 I have built strong relationships with multiple clients globally in the AV, Creative industry and sectors beyond.

I am a committed and enthusiastic professional who thrives as part of a team and enjoys tackling complex technical and creative challenges. Known for remaining calm under pressure, I build strong working relationships with clients while maintaining the professionalism, reliability and attention to detail required on high-profile productions.

A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (2014), I began my career as an Intern at d3 Technologies (now disguise), before becoming a Technical Assistant at United Visual Artists (UVA). I later moved into freelance work through projects with dandelion+burdock, expanding my experience across television, theatre, live events and immersive installations.

Clients have included BILD Studios, Creative Technology (CT), bright! Studios, Pixel Artworks, Flint Studio, PRG, Drive Productions, Saville AV, Mediatec, Double Take Projections, and many more.

Originally from Y Felinheli, North Wales, I am a fluent Welsh speaker and remain proud of my Welsh heritage. Outside of work I enjoy skiing, water sports,videography, solo travel, and exploring new cultures—interests that complement a career built around working on productions across the world.
